Giacomo Arrigoni (1983) is an Italian writer-director member of AIR3 – Directors Guild Italia and WGI – Writers Guild Italia.

In the last 15 years as an author and filmmaker, he has worked in Italy, Germany, France, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Greece and in the US.
With his short and feature films, he got more than 40 awards in international film festivals, including a screening at the Chamber of Deputies in Rome, a Best Feature film in Miami and Houston, a nomination for an Italian Golden Globe and a selection in a special section of the Silver Ribbons Awards (Nastro d’Argento) with “Into the Gloom”, a short film about violence against women.

He has co-written State of Consciousness (2021) with Emile Hirsch,  and Eddie & Sunny (2021) with Gabriel Luna, both produced by Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment and Paradox Studios.

His TV series projects have been selected at SerienCamp in Munich, at Série Series in Paris, at the Raindance Film Festival in London and at the Maison des Scènaristes of the Cannes Film Festival.

He directed he directed the documentary Spicy Calabria (2021), produced by Oplus Europe and RS Productions, presented at the Rome MIA Market in the selection Italians Doc It Better and distributed theatrically across Italy in July 2021. The documentary premiered at Ischia Global Fest and won a Best Documentary Award at the Procida International Film Festival.

His short documentary Resilient Warriors: Jose Antonio, about the revolution of syntropic farming in Brazil, is part of the official selection of Visioni dal Mondo Film Festival 2021, got a Merit Award at the Awareness Film Fest 2020 in Los Angeles and was screened in Paris and London.

His web series #Goldfish (2017), about the relationship between teenagers and social networks, produced by Discovery Italia, has been presented at the Giffoni Film Festival, aired on Italian TV channel 9 and is available on Discovery+.

His feature film The Rule of Lead (2014) won several international awards and is available around the world on Amazon Prime Video, iTunes and Vimeo on Demand.

He writes and directs films, TV series and documentaries.
