“Ex Tenebris Lux” at Scenari Transalpini 2025

At the Italian Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival, to promote the development of Italian-French co-productions, the Institut français Italia, Cinecittà, with the support of the Directorate-General for Cinema and Audiovisual - Ministry of Culture, the Centre national du cinéma et de l'image animée (CNC), in partnership with the MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo and Villa Medici, have announced the second edition of SCENARI TRANSALPINI, a workshop for the development of Franco-Italian TV series scripts.

For the 2025 edition, support is planned for 6 projects for the scriptwriting of fictional audiovisual series, 3 of Italian initiative and 3 of French initiative, which will benefit from a series of meetings over several days in June at Villa Medici in Rome with experts (Italian and French) in co-production, distribution, international sales.

The selected projects will then participate in a public pitching session at the eleventh edition of the MIA | Mercato Internazionale Audiovisivo, which will be held in Rome between 6 and 10 October 2025.
